  • Info et Cetera Consulting - a division of MBO Partners – Principal Consultant – 7/1997 – Present - I specialize in developing custom information solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies, while also providing support for and integration with legacy and non-Microsoft systems. I work with companies to understand how they function, and then design and build a custom solution modeled around their existing business processes.  I also provide online marketing services, including analysis or development of online business plans. I develop interactive sites with complex applications able to scale to thousands of simultaneous users. I don’t just create websites — I build web applications that empower business. In addition, I offer customers a high level of marketing and branding insight, ensuring that the look-and-feel of thier sites reinforces and strengthens their all-important business brand.
  • Lutco, Inc. - Programmer Analyst – 3/2001 – 1/2005 – Responsible for custom application development & integration and ERP system implementation / support (Infor Point.Man, formerly Mapics ERP for Extended Systems). Designed suite of web-based corporate collaboration tools. Developed custom shop floor control and real-time data access applications. Initiated migration of Visual Basic 6.0 applications to .NET.
  • Worcester Polytechnic Institute - Teaching Assistant – 8/1999 – 12/2000 – Designed and instructed technical lab component of technology course required for all MIS undergraduates. Topics included PC architecture, operating systems, troubleshooting, and networking (including software configuration, bus and star architectures, bridges, and hubs). Student base varied from experienced professionals to individuals who had never opened a computer. Integrated coarse content into web-based Blackboard system.
  • Book-of-the-Month Club, Inc. - Application Developer – 5/1998 – 8/1998 – Improved high-speed optical character recognition (OCR) programs written in C++ and various proprietary systems. Performed Y2K analysis and modifications in C++ and COBOL.
  • Menlo Logistics, Inc. - Systems Administrator – 7/1996 – 8/1997 – Interfaced with client executives to provide reporting and data analysis services. Managed IT operations and local NT server & workstations. Interfaced with remote central IT support.
